Curiosity, being on a spiritual journey, those are good things. I had always been interested in the human quest for spiritual things, but it wasn’t until my 20’s that I really began to seek answers to my faith. In a small bible study of University students in Saskatoon, I found friendship and growing faith. In that group, the love of Jesus met me, and I began an intentional journey with God in Christ. Jesus has and continues to transform my life. He is a wonderful spiritual guide, and saviour, and the Holy Spirit a close friend and companion.
The spiritual journey has brought me various opportunities, working as school teacher, spiritual director, seminary professor and parish priest. Educational and employment pursuits have given the opportunity to live in New York, Virginia, Saskatoon, Nunavut, Colorado, the Ottawa Valley and our current home in the beautiful hills of rural Uxbridge.
When not involved in ministry, I enjoy cooking, road-biking, motorcycling and tending chickens. My life-friend and partner is Dr. Anne Kern, to whom I have been happily married for 30+ years. We are grateful for our four remarkable children. I have committed my life, with joy, to the service of Jesus Christ, in the Anglican Church of Canada.
