Children of all ages were important to Jesus in his ministry on earth and they are also important to St. Philip’s. We welcome you to be a part!
Our goal is to provide opportunities for your children and teens to connect with God and their peers in a safe, fun, and loving environment. We offer regular programs for children and youth on Sunday’s, as well as a drama program offered weekly. In addition there are many special services and events held throughout the year including two camps held each year in July – Musical Theatre Camp and Summer Day Camp.
Here’s what you can expect on Sunday morning for kids:
Children and teens meet in the Parish Hall (turn left as you come through the front door and walk past the coat racks) before the service begins. Here you’ll be able to meet our volunteers and find out what the day’s activities will be.
Children will have a time of worship all together and then go downstairs for their classes where they explore Biblical stories and learn more about following Jesus. Children will rejoin their families in time for communion each week.
Please know that all our paid staff and volunteers go through a stringent screening process as mandated by the Anglican Diocese of Toronto Screening in Faith policy.
We look forward to meeting you and your family and answer any questions you may have about children’s ministries at SPOTH.

Begins September 10, 2019
This pre-teen group meets every other Tuesday from 5:15pm – 6:00pm for a time of games, worship, prayer, and talking about what it means and looks like to be a follower of Jesus in the world today. A simple dinner is served as part of our time together and students are always free to bring a friend along!
