The people of St. Philip’s are a warm, welcoming, diverse, and prayerful community engaged on the spiritual journey.
We offer two main worship services each Sunday.
8:15 am – A quiet reflective service for early risers, based on the traditional Book of Common Prayer with Holy Eucharist. There is no music in this service, lots of room for meditation.
10:30 am – A joyful worship service using contemporary language and a traditional service outline, with choir-led singing. Many members of the community take part each week by writing and offering prayers, reading Scripture, setting the altar, serving Communion, anointing with sacred oil, or offering drama. Children enjoy their fun programs and join us for Communion.
Special “expanded” services feature children’s and youth drama and contemporary music take place regularly, as well as festival services such as Blessing of the Animals (St. Francis), concerts of prayer, Christmas Lessons and Carols, ancient services for Holy Week, and in-house produced Children’s musicals at Christmas and Mother’s Day.
