The choir will be back to work preparing to offer more music a couple times each month through the fall. We’re meeting after church on Sundays beginning this week. These practices will be about 30 minutes in length.
We really want to grow the group. We have a great time preparing the music together, and there is lots of support for less confident singers, or people who are not strong music readers. We will help you find your way!
I am very flexible about how you commit to being involved…we all have lives and sometimes other commitments mean you can’t be here all the time. That is ok; as a group we can adapt. My first concern is that we build a community that can enjoy singing together. So, if you have to be in and out of the group, that is ok with me. We will always have enough singers to perform the music we have planned.
Finally, this is an all-ages choir. School age kids as young as 8 (who can read most of the words) are welcome. I will be picking music that is suitable for all ages to sing together.

Who we are….
Our congregation enjoys good music and singing together in praise and worship. Classical hymns take pride of place in our worship, as well as gospel hymns and some contemporary spiritual songs. We have a wonderful Phoenix organ (installed 2010) and beautiful Heitzman grand piano which are both used each service. Occasionally other instruments accompany our praise, guitar, flute, trumpet and even the sax! Our small choir is faithful and sings on alternate Sundays, with a rota of cantors leading the singing the other Sundays. We are slowly integrating more contemporary music in our services. Come join us make a joyful noise unto the Lord!
