“Come, let us sing to the Lord; let us shout for joy to the rock of our salvation.” Psalm 95.1
Do you like to sing? Consider joining us!
On Sunday, April 26 the choir presented John Rutter’s “Look at the World”. We appreciate the choir’s work preparing this lovely piece.
We’d love to grow this group and invite you to consider joining us. Choir is now meeting every Sunday after church. We will meet at the front of the church for a 30-40 minute rehearsal time—finishing no later than 12:30 pm. All ages and levels of experience and invited. We’re learning lots and having a good time doing it. Please be in touch with me by email atmusic@nullspoth.ca for more information.

Minister of Music
Who we are….
Our congregation enjoys good music and singing together in praise and worship. Classical hymns take pride of place in our worship, as well as gospel hymns and some contemporary spiritual songs. We have a wonderful Phoenix organ (installed 2010) and beautiful Heitzman grand piano which are both used each service. Occasionally other instruments accompany our praise, guitar, flute, trumpet and even the sax! Our small choir is faithful and sings on alternate Sundays, with a rota of cantors leading the singing the other Sundays. We are slowly integrating more contemporary music in our services. Come join us make a joyful noise unto the Lord!
Choir Memories…..
In memory of past Minister of Music Nina Wu-Cotton who passed suddenly in August of 2023, please enjoy this recording of her playing Widor’s Finale at St. Philip’s.
