Christmas Services
On Christmas Eve night there will be a Family Service at 5pm and traditional Christmas Eve services at 7:30pm and 9:30pm. All services include Holy Communion, carols, and candlelight singing.
On Christmas Day there will be a service at 10:30am with carols and Holy Communion, also children are welcome to bring a toy for the Blessing of the Toys.
Advent Lessons and Carols
A festive service of Advent Lessons and Carols. The choir will be singing and there’s the opportunity for congregational singing as well. December 9 at 10:30 AM
Christmas Caroling Dec 4th
We’ll be Christmas Caroling in the neighbourhood around St. Philip’s from 7-9pm. Come and share the joy of the season with others!
Advent Breakfast
This year’s Advent Breakfast will be on Sunday, December 3 from 9:15-10:15am. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Advent through our trivia table game and to start the season by sharing a meal with other members of the St. Philip’s community. Tickets are $5 and payable at the door. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, bacon, fruit, tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
Harvest Hoedown
Put on your country western wear and join the fun at our first Harvest Hoedown! Dinner, square dancing, games, and a silent auction. This is a fundraising event to help support the ministry and programs at St. Philip’s. Tickets are available and must be purchased in advance, please email Brian for tickets.
Blessing of the Animals
We believe God created all things and this is an opportunity to bring your pets to church. Come on Saturday, September 30 at 4pm and be part of a service where we give thanks to God for the beautiful and amazing pets in our lives. We also offer prayers of blessing for happy and healthy pets and their families. This service is open to all in the community.
Alpha Film Series
The Alpha Film Series begins on Saturday, September 30 from 9:30-11:30am and is open to anyone in the community – whether you’ve never been in a church or whether you attend regularly. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the Christian faith. The series lasts for 8 weeks and gives you the opportunity to explore life, faith and God in a friendly, open and informal environment. In each session there’s food, a short talk, and discussion in small groups. Please email Rev. Carol or Katharine to sign up.

Fall Kickoff & BBQ
The Fall Kickoff will be on Sunday, September 24 at 10:30am. This service includes the Blessing of the Backpacks (special prayer & blessing for all who’ve returned to school) and is the kickoff for fall programming. This is a great opportunity to reconnect and get plugged in this fall. The service is followed by a BBQ – please bring a salad/side item or dessert to share. Please email Katharine to sign up today!
